The Keep

Privacy Policy

Sigma Stronghold LLC · Last updated 16 September 2026

The short version

1Who we are

The Keep is a product of Sigma Stronghold LLC, a Texas limited liability company. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Sigma Stronghold LLC, and “you” means the person using The Keep.

This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and what you can do about it. It applies to the app, to getthekeep.com, and to any support you ask us for.

2What we collect

What you give us to run your account

What you put into the app

This is the substance of the product, and it stays on your device by default (see section 3):

What the app records about its own use

3Where your information lives

By default, on your device. The Keep writes your case records into your phone’s or browser’s own storage. They do not travel to us simply because you typed them.

Your information leaves your device only when one of these is true, and each one is something you choose:

Storage on your device is not a backup. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app or lose the device without backup switched on, those records are gone and we cannot recover them — because we never had them. Export regularly, and consider turning backup on.

4The assistant, and what it never sees

The Keep includes an assistant that can answer questions about your order and the law of your state. Answering a question means sending something to a language model operated by Anthropic. We are deliberate about what that is.

What is sent

What is never sent

Your children’s namesThey are replaced before the question leaves your device.
The other parent’s name or contact detailsSame treatment.
Documents you have not asked a question aboutThe assistant is given the specific clauses your question needs, not your file.
Recordings, photographs or audioThese never go to a model at all.

Anthropic processes these requests on our behalf under their commercial terms. Your inputs are not used to train their models.

The record of what you asked is kept on your device so that you can look back at it, and you can delete it.

What the assistant will not do

These limits are built into the product, not just described here:

5Children’s information

The Keep is for adults. Accounts are held by parents and by the professionals they choose to share with. We do not offer accounts to anyone under 18, and the service is not directed to children.

The app does hold information about children — names, schools, medical and school records, schedules — because that is what a custody order is about. That information is entered by you, the parent, as the person entitled to hold your own family’s records, and it is handled exactly as section 3 describes.

If you use the calling features, a child may speak or be recorded on a call. That audio is treated as described in section 6. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child for our own purposes, and children cannot create accounts or use the app independently of a parent’s device.

6Calls and recordings

If you subscribe to a plan with calling, The Keep can place calls and record them, and can produce transcripts of them.

Recording law is yours to comply with, and it varies by state. Some states require every party’s consent; some require only one. The Keep applies your state’s rule and plays an announcement where one is needed, but you are responsible for the legality of what you record. A recording made unlawfully is not just inadmissible — in some states making it is a crime.

Recordings and transcripts are stored the same way as the rest of your records: on your device by default, and in encrypted storage if you have backup turned on. Recordings are never sent to a language model. Transcription is performed on infrastructure we control rather than by a third-party transcription service.

7Who else we share with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers, each for one job:

ProviderWhat they doWhat they get
StripePayments and subscriptionsYour name, email and payment details. We never receive your card number.
AnthropicThe assistantOnly what section 4 lists. Not used for training.
TelnyxCalls and text messagesThe phone numbers involved and the call or message itself, as any carrier must have to connect it.
BackblazeEncrypted backup and document storageEncrypted files, if you have turned backup on.
Google WorkspaceOur own business emailWhatever you write to us when you contact support.

If Sigma Stronghold LLC is ever sold or merges with another company, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We would tell you before that happened and before any new owner’s policy applied to you.

What we ourselves can see

For running the business, we hold counts, not transcripts: how many questions an account asked, what they cost us, when the account was last active, and which plan it is on. The questions themselves are only ever looked at in a pooled form with names, numbers and addresses already removed. We do not read one named person’s questions unless that person opens a support conversation and asks us to look.

9Your rights over your information

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law — including, for Texas residents, rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Write to privacy@getthekeep.com and we will honour any right the law gives you. We will not charge you for it and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Deleting your account deletes your records. There is no recovery afterwards and we cannot undo it for you, because after it runs we no longer have anything to undo it from. Export first.

10How long we keep things

11Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls on everything we operate, and storage configured so that stored evidence cannot be silently altered after the fact. Your device’s own lock screen is the first line of protection for records held there, and the app offers a separate PIN for handing your phone to a child during a call.

No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and tell you promptly.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what happens to your information, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, rather than relying on you to notice a new date.
